Alright, just made an account for this, so. lets get started on what i wanna do with this post.
Secret neighbor's website is weird, and the sentence is the weirdest. If you, translate it to different stuff like Zulu, Russian, Serbian, or reverse it, remove words or do anything with it you will get different sentences, and there are LOADS. Rn i'm making a list (it might be confusing) and im putting it on here. IF ANYONE wanna try and help me, go and visit the website and do anything with it, translate it, reverse it, DO ANYTHING that can help us.

Sounds good, good forum post
The best guess I have at the moment is that "сроа снконо" (sroa snkono) means "coming soon", or something to that degree. Typing "coming soon" into Google translate gets me "скоро" (skoro), which is close enough to снконо to make me think those last two words aren't part of the puzzle.
Not to mention, Tinybuild's most recent YouTube video only has "еарсяепоп ивьидь яущатзщ с нмот родандгу" as its title. I don't know if any of that's helpful, but it's the only info I've got so far.
I tried mirroring the text, and managed to get "угднадор томн с щзтащуя ьдиьви попеясрае.", which translates to " With the help of the Svadnador you can see more closely.", but I checked several search engines, and "Svadnador" is not a word. Still, getting back an actual sentence is better than getting back nonsense.
you got a couple of words right
@Alex - I did? Or Simon did?
And is there any chance we can get confirmation on the exact words that were correct? :'D
I'm still working away at this text. The only new info I've come back with is that if you separate the lines, like it looks on the website, you get:
"ьдиьви попеясрае
томн с щзтащуя
угднадор"
And running that through Google Translate gets:
"Go ahead and see
with volume
Northeast"
I've tried running the original string of text through a caesar cipher, both forwards and backwards, to no success, and I've also tried running it through a vigenère cipher, with the key being "trophy" (because that thing feels super out of place to me, and it was the only thing I could think to use as a key), also to no success.
At this point, the only thing I think I'm sure about is that you need to mirror the text. But if it were that easy, someone would have figured it out by now. I'm confident there's something more that needs to be done to it, but I'm running out of ideas as to what that could be. I've shifted words, I've tried removing letters, and I've found nothing. I've even begun to learn Russian, just so I have a better idea as to what I'm looking at.
If the hidden image on Secretneighbor.com is supposed to be our guide, and the mirror is one clue, then there has to be something else in it that tells us what to do after that. Mirroring the text gives us actual words, not just a scramble, but those words don't give us anything useful to go on. I really don't know what else to look for though. Is the Neighbor shushing us, or is he pointing up at something? Maybe mirroring it really is all you have to do, and I'm just not doing it right.
No matter how I manipulate the text though, I keep getting words like "look" or "see". I don't know if that's important, but I'm putting it out there.
Don't bother with a simple word manipulation in google translate. It will be very hard for you to find answer, placing words and letters in random order. There is a chance, but a very small one.
It's an anagram written in Russian. One of the words is confirmed to be "Друзья" or 'Friends'.
Hardest part of this is actually thinking of a word with a 2 'щ' letters (or two separate words containing this letter)...
Also, in the background theres a GREEN LIGHT(the mirror photo). The reason i know its a light is because in the mirror you can see both a red and blue light!
@ericvandel - That's actually good information, thank you! I didn't figure that randomly moving words around would do too much, but without knowing Russian, it's all I knew to do.
When you say it's an anagram, do you mean each individual word is an anagram, or the whole sentence is shuffled, and any letter could go anywhere?
@jrbgaming - Oh man, the green light... I'm not sure that's the one they're talking about, but I'm still watching for it. I really hope that mystery is still going on, and that they haven't put it away just yet.
Yep, whole sentence shuffled and any letter can go anywhere.
EDIT: Oh, and (the obvious? part) 'сроа снконо' is most likely 'скоро анонс' or 'Announcement soon'.
Translate it toRussian to Norwegian to English and you might get something
No. Russian -> Norwegian -> English is wrong. I tried it the very first day everyone started to say that it's the correct answer. "You will not get information on this place" or something like that. First of all, what does that even have to do with announcement of a new game? Secondly, shouldn't it mean that the way to decipher message is not a simple translation between different languages, hoping that it might work? (there is a way for users to edit the translation of words in google (or atleast was few years ago, i don't know about now), maybe devs tried to hint, that google will not help this time).
What i meant by that, is that devs might have edited translation of "еарсяепоп ивьидь..." to "do not use google translate in this situation, it's useless, to give some kind of clue for this message.
(For the devs, if i'm wrong about second part, i'm really sorry for making tis kind of assumption, i just remember seeing users editing google translations to their own sentences, and thought you tried to make some kind of hint for this puzzle)
Strange fact, Alex said the code translates to "Друзья всегда придут на помощь" -> "Friends will always come to the rescue". Arranging letters in that order leaves a lot of other letters untouched...
That COULD mean "сроа снконо" is not "Announcement soon" (as almost every russian speaking thought so) and the whole message is still unknown, or extra letters are there just to make it harder (and it did, trust me, there is WAY too many word combinations).
For anyone still interested, the untouched letters are "сеиящт оан сроа снконо".
